Nielsen Brings in Head of Measurement Science
Nielsen has appointed Roberto Ruiz as its new Head of Measurement Science, leading strategy and roll-out of new products and offerings for the global ratings and data group's measurement science arm.
Ruiz' 25 years of experience span audience measurement, media strategy and data analytics. Most recently, he led his own advisory practice, helping media and marketing organizations to navigate AI-driven transformation in measurement and audience intelligence. Before that, he worked for nearly twenty years at Univision / TelevisaUnivision, latterly as EVP and Chief Research Officer.
Ruiz reports to Nielsen Chief Information and Data Officer Russ Soper, who says of the hire: 'Roberto has helped build and steer brands through exciting periods of transformation and growth in his career.
