DISQO Appoints CMO
Ad intelligence firm DISQO has appointed Terri Walter as Chief Marketing Officer, responsible for leading its marketing organization and driving its brand, communications and go-to-market strategy. She reports to CEO and co-founder Armen Adjemian.
DISQO has evolved in a few years from an insights and CX platform, tapping millions of opted-in consumers sharing their experiences of brands, into a specialist in the measurement of cross-media brand and performance outcomes, using a combination of deterministic sources. These include tags - on programmatic, CTV, display and audio ads; server-to-server integrations with select platforms; tagless technology powered by AI to capture and classify advertising exposures across any platform; and deterministic, household-level TV data to measure ad exposure on linear and traditional broadcast.
Walter (pictured) brings more than two decades of experience building brands and driving growth at companies across the ad tech landscape, including TRUSTX, PubMatic, Kargo and Chartbeat. In the past three years she has worked as a consultant, often with AI startups, gaining firsthand exposure to how the impact of AI on marketing. Earlier in her career she spent two years as VP Corporate marketing at DoubleClick, four and a half as Global VP, Emerging Media at Razorfish and nearly four as a Global Brand Director at Microsoft.
'DISQO has built the measurement platform that the AI era of advertising needs,' claims Adjemian. 'Hiring a CMO of Terri's caliber is how we ensure that message reaches every brand, agency, and media company who needs to hear it. She has operated at scale in ad tech, shaped category narratives and knows how to move a market.'
