Funds for B2B Sales Data Specialist Zynt
Warsaw-based start-up Zynt has raised $500,000 in pre-seed funding to fuel development of its b2b sales intelligence platform, and help it expand into the US.
The firm, which was founded by CEO Cezary Reszel (pictured) and CPTO Wojciech Ozimek, analyses buying behaviour across a range of sectors to identify key drivers and timing factors. Its data comes from news publications, social media, business directories and legal records, as well as other sources such as job postings. Data is processed using machine learning, which gradually identifies the key signals depending on sector and sales process - and processing also incorporates facets of game theory. Clients at present are mostly Polish businesses with international scale.
In a press release, Zynt said AI has 'changed the game' of b2b sales prospecting, 'and not for the better,' explaining: ''Personalised' emails became easy to mass-produce, inboxes turned into noise, and the effectiveness of B2B outbound has been quietly declining ever since.' According to Reszel: 'Our platform rethinks how sales teams approach outreach. Instead of asking only 'who to contact,' we focus on 'when and why now.' This lets companies move away from random, high-volume blasting and concentrate on leads that are genuinely close to a buying decision.'
The approach has been verified by interviews with around 1,200 salespeople, in which the founders observed that 'the best-performing sales teams weren't the ones working with the largest lead lists' but 'worked with smaller, carefully curated pools,' according to www.eu-startups.com . The company is working on new features including one which will identify at which industry events users' potential clients are likely to appear.
The current round of funding, totalling EUR 424.4k, came from investors including 24Ventures and a number of angles.
