Humankind Adds Standalone Recruitment Service
London-based Humankind Research, which specialises in research for positive social impact, has launched a new participant recruitment service called HumanFIND, focused on 'bringing underrepresented voices into qualitative research.'
The company was founded by Tom Silverman, Gail Steeden and Jess Lister in 2017, and originally focused on qual research, adding a quant team two years ago. Clients are consumer and corporate brands, charities, foundations and the public sector, looking to explore complex social issues, reach marginalised communities or 'have a more standard ask with an eye on inclusivity.'
The new standalone recruitment offering is led by an experienced ops team, backed by some twenty researchers, which the firm says 'gives it a deep understanding of what meaningful representation looks like.' This includes sourcing participants 'outside of the usual mainstream channels,' as well as bespoke, community- based recruitment tailored to the client's audience and topic; expert guidance on sample design, structure, and safeguarding; an unusual degree of expertise in public and third sector research; and RAS-accredited recruiters.
Specific areas of expertise for recruitment include supporter lists, Low SEG and lived experience studies, children and young people, and respondents for research on sensitive topics including financial and health inequalities.
