Former IBM Consultant to Lead Material in APAC
Insights, brand strategy and product innovation advisor Material has announced the hiring of Raman Kalra as President, Asia Pacific, leading its operations in the region.
Material grew out of research agency LRW, which was established in 1992 and made a number of acquisitions in the 2010s to expand beyond its MR roots and offer a much broader range of strategic consulting services.
Kalra brings more than 30 years of experience, most recently from IBM where he led Business Transformation Services in India and South Asia, managing an end-to-end portfolio across digital strategy, AI transformation and customer experience. Earlier in his career he worked as a senior partner at PwC Consulting.
In his new role he will partner with global teams to deliver the firm's insights, design and marketing technology to clients across the region, with a focus on business transformation and demand engineering.
