Big Series C for Unicorn BI Firm Omni
San Francisco-based Business Intelligence software company Omni has raised $120 million in Series C funding, valuing it at around $1.5 billion. Funds will be used to expand operations and further develop its products.
Omni's unified analytics platform and dashboards help companies improve self-service, accelerate AI adoption, and build customer-facing data products, and boasts a built-in semantic layer which it says 'ensures consistency, trust and AI readiness.' Users can define, analyse and visualize key metrics, and build customer-facing data products. The company is led by CEO Colin Zima, pictured, a former Google Search quality head.
The round followed earlier very substantial raises including a $69m Series B, was led by ICONIQ with participation from existing investors Theory Ventures, First Round Capital, Redpoint Ventures and GV. It also included a $30 million employee tender offer.
