Former Netflix Ad Measurement VP Joins Nielsen
Nielsen has appointed former Netflix Exec Julie DeTraglia as Head of Content and Strategic Insights, leading strategy for its editorial marketing content including social media, insights articles, client communications, events, sales enablement tools and podcasts.
Nielsen says creating solutions and products with its clients is a major focus, and points to a number of recent hires from the client side, including Peter Naylor, Roberto Ruiz, Seth Ladetsky, Trevor Fellows and Sacha Weinberg.
DeTraglia most recently served as Vice President of Ads Measurement at Netflix, after a spell as Global Head of Sports Strategy and Research at Amazon. Earlier she worked in research leadership roles at Disney, Hulu and NBCUniversal. In her new role she will serve as a 'strategic narrative engine' for Nielsen marketing, based in the company's New York headquarters.
She reports to Head of Global Marketing Weinberg, who comments: 'Julie has a rare talent for transforming data into clear, actionable strategy. She doesn't just look at where the market has been - she identifies the signals that tell us where it's going next. Her ability to synthesise deep historical insights with current market dynamics will be a game-changer for how we deliver value to our clients in a constantly evolving landscape.'
