Esomar Hires for New AI Leadership Role
Esomar has appointed Aurélie Reynier as Head of Data, Innovation and AI, with a remit to guide the association's global AI initiatives and advance its own AI-driven capabilities - both with a focus on practical outcomes and responsible development.
She brings more than a decade of experience in data strategy, digital transformation and responsible AI, most recently from global non-profit body the Access to Nutrition initiative (ATNi), where as Head of Data, Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning she built the data function, led cloud-based transformation and co-chaired AI governance efforts. Prior to joining ATNi in 2019 she spent three years at food security organisation CTA, and earlier she worked as a Lecturer and for the French government.
In her new role, she will serve as the operational lead for Esomar's AI Task Force, working closely with the organisation's Council and with external experts to ensure that emerging developments in AI are reflected in standards, professional guidance and member-facing resources. Her remit also includes development of Esomar's own data infrastructure and AI-enabled services, supporting improved member experiences and enabling new data-driven products, insights and digital capabilities at the organisation's Amsterdam headquarters.
COO Patrick De Regt comments: 'Aurélie brings a strong combination of strategic vision and practical execution. Her experience in building data capabilities and shaping responsible AI practices will help ensure that Esomar continues to provide clear guidance, trusted standards and meaningful support to the global insights community.'
The association was established in 1947, has more than 10,000 members in 750 companies across 130 countries, and is online at www.esomar.org .
NB DRNO is no longer sure about capitalization on the name, and apparently neither is the association itself - the web site has all 3 possibles (ESOMAR, Esomar and esomar) in different places.
