Nebu Veteran Ian Roberts Joins OvationMR

OvationMR, headquartered in New York, has appointed long-time Nebu sales leader Ian Roberts as SVP, Insights and Strategy.

Ovation was founded in 2016 and provides market research audiences and insights worldwide. The firm acquired AI-driven qual platform Qualibee and mobile-first 'in the moment' feedback provider Ethos in 2024.

Roberts brings more than 25 years of experience in the sector, beginning as a Technical Manager at Ipsos and MD at Voxco, each for two and a half years. In 2006 after a brief spell at GfK he moved to survey software firm Nebu, where he spent more than a decade as Head of Sales. Since then he has worked in sales and business development leadership roles at IRB, Bilendi - where he spent four years - and PureSpectrum.

Welcoming Roberts to the company on LinkedIn, CEO James Whaley described him as a 'business consultant, insights leader, and technology innovator'.
