Ipsos Forms Independent Advisory Board
Ipsos has created an independent Advisory Board, with former Millward Brown CEO Eileen Campbell as Chair, providing counsel to its Board of Directors and executive leadership regarding the long-term trends reshaping the insights industry.
The move is intended to give an 'outside-in perspective' to the leadership as the company launched its 'Horizons' plan to build an 'Augmented Ipsos'.
Campbell (pictured) brings both agency and client side perspective to the role, having served as Global CEO of Millward Brown and CMO of IMAX, and will be joined in 'the coming weeks' by a number of other members current being recruited. Ipsos says these will include AI and technology experts, experienced client-side leaders, and science, economic and geopolitical thought leaders.
Laurence Stoclet, President of the Ipsos Board of Directors, says the move 'reflects Ipsos' ambition to lead in an industry being reshaped by rapid change.' He comments: 'Eileen brings credibility, deep industry expertise, and a truly independent perspective. I am confident that the Advisory Board will be a valuable asset as we shape the next chapter of our leadership in this new era.' Campbell herself says Ipsos has built 'a unique position' in the global insights industry through its 'rigour, independence and international scale.'
