YouGov Launches Tools Tracking AI Habits and Views

YouGov has expanded its suite of consumer intelligence tools with the launch of AI Index and AI CategoryView, promising client firms continuous, structured intelligence on how consumers 'perceive, use and feel about' AI tools and brands.

Tom FisherAI Index is a syndicated, daily brand tracking tool available in the US and UK, tapping nationally representative samples of targeted audiences to track the major AI brands, and is integrated with BrandIndex, the firm's always-on platform for brand and competitor tracking across sixteen brand health metrics. Users can monitor the impact of their campaigns and product launches, and benchmark their competitive positioning in real time.

AI CategoryView provides monthly updates of trend data and sector-focused insights connecting brand health and key demographic segments with industry-specific context. Coverage has three core areas: AI usage, including frequency of use, paid subscriptions and usage contexts; attitudes and beliefs, including concerns about usage, desired features, perceived societal impact and pressure to use AI; and additional brand attributes - including data privacy, social impact, sustainability and transparency.

YouGov says the new products draw on data collected by the firm for years, tracking consumer attitudes toward AI and technology for years. Chief Commercial Officer Tom Fisher (pictured) comments: 'As AI increasingly becomes embedded in everyday life, brands need continuous tracking into what consumers think around adoption, trust, behaviour and consumer expectations. AI Index and AI CategoryView are built to help organizations navigate an increasingly complex AI landscape with real-time intelligence that connects brand performance to how people are engaging with AI technologies today.'

The tools are available immediately. YouGov has operations in the Americas, Mainland Europe, the UK and Asia Pacific, and derives its data from proprietary assets including a panel of millions of registered members across 64 markets, encapsulating some 18 million shopping trips. Its web site is at www.yougov.com .
