NIQ Launches Optiq Agent and Other New Features

Consumer intelligence giant NIQ has unveiled no fewer than six new AI-powered capabilities at its annual C360 client and industry event. They include insight agent Optiq and a GenAI-native Marketing Effectiveness O/S called Cadence, as well as a number of features to help connect and integrate data.

Troy TreangenThe company says the new tools focus on helping clients unlock value from AI today, and prepare for a future where the technology increasingly influences product discovery, recommendations, purchasing decisions and measurement. Its AI strategy is geared to exploiting its massive databases and relationships with more than 8,900 retailers globally, covering around $7.4 trillion in consumer spend, on more than 253 million product items.

One new feature, NIQ Connected Content, will help clients manage, activate and optimize product, availability and preference intelligence across their commerce systems; while ConnectAI Suite will power a range of AI data engineering and integration services to help clients access NIQ data within enterprise workflows and AI-enabled business processes. NIQ Cadence will help marketers continuously measure, optimize and activate performance.

The remaining three capabilities all relate to Optiq, described as a next-generation insights assistant and agent experience, 'bringing trusted market intelligence directly into decision-making.' In addition to Optiq itself, they are NIQ Optiq Mobile, which brings this functionality directly into mobile decision-making environments; and NIQ Optiq Bridge, which connects the firm's intelligence directly into major applications, AI-powered workflows, and enterprise environments.

He adds: 'Our new capabilities are designed to meet clients where they are and help them access NIQ's trusted, proprietary market intelligence seamlessly and securely wherever decisions are made.'

Liz Buchanan, the firm's President of North America, adds: 'Across our client conversations, we consistently hear the same challenge: organizations are investing heavily in AI but often struggle to operationalize it at scale. The innovations announced at C360 are designed to help close that gap by providing trusted intelligence, practical AI solutions, and the capabilities organizations need to turn AI ambition into measurable business outcomes.'
