Former NFO Leaders Join InsightExpress
Online research agency InsightExpress, LLC has appointed William E. Lipner and Patrick G. Healy as Chairman & CEO and Vice-Chairman, respectively. Lipner and Healy recently held similar positions with NFO WorldGroup, and have worked together for nearly 12 years.
Lipner, 57, spent thirty years at NFO and was its Chairman and CEO for 22, presiding over a hundredfold increase in annual revenues to over $500m. He led a management buyout in 1991, took it public in 1993 and successfully sold NFO to The Interpublic Group in 2000. On the company's sale to TNS in 2003, Lipner became Executive Vice-Chairman of TNS, a position from which he retired in March 2004. He began his career in marketing and sales roles at Honeywell Information Systems, and has degrees in Electronics Engineering and Business Administration from the University of Toledo.
Healy, 49, joins as Vice-Chairman with a particular emphasis on the company's financial, strategic planning, mergers & acquisitions and human resources functions. He joined NFO as Executive VP and CFO in 1993, and during the next decade took responsibility for Asian & Middle East operations among other senior roles. At the time of the sale to TNS, Healy was NFO's Vice-Chairman. He has served as TNS's Global Integration Director and Advisor until recently. He worked for a 'big 8' accounting firm for 6 years and then spent nine as the Executive VP and CFO of independent advertising sales and marketing company Interep. He holds a B.B.A. degree from the Bernard M. Baruch College, where he graduated summa cum laude.
