Launch of 'Africa's First' Agentic PR Intell Platform
Nigeria-based PR agency Cihan Media Communications has launched AGENTPR, described as Africa's first agentic PR and media intelligence platform.
Cihan is based in Lagos and headed up by founder and Chief Executive Celestine Achi (pictured).
The new platform monitors and analyses data from online news, social media, forums, the major Nigerian television and radio stations, dark social platforms, the international press, and WhatsApp echo channels. Four AI agents are used to process and present the data: CNA, the orchestrator; SADA, the gatherer; ZALI, the analyst; and NZE, the synthesiser. The company says its Meaning Intelligence analysis framework goes beyond conventional sentiment analysis to interpret sarcasm risk, cultural nuance and reputational intent in African media contexts, 'where language, tone, and cultural reference carry meaning that standard natural language processing systems routinely misclassify'.
AGENTPR is available either as a dashboard within a browser, accessed via useagentpr.com and delivering automated presentations and reporting; or as a Model Context Protocol (MCP) connector which will run inside Anthropic's GenAI tool Claude, supplying immediate answers to natural language questions.
'Africa does not have a monitoring problem, ' says Achi, quoted on news site www.guardian.ng . 'It has an intelligence problem. The tools exist. The data exists. The platforms exist. What has never existed - until now - is a methodology built for how African media actually works, how African language actually speaks, and how African reputation actually moves. AGENTPR is that methodology.'
