Idea Consult Launches Rapid Decision Support Platform
In the US, Idea Consult has launched a virtual business advisor called Intellihance, which converts complex business questions into a program of research, pulls in data from a range of sources and presents results and recommendations.
Washington-based Idea Consult was founded in 2017 and promises businesses help in decision-making through 'stronger research, clearer analysis, and practical strategic guidance.' The new Intellihance platform inputs a business question and creates structured market, competitor, customer and financial analysis, with cited sources and a 'clear' view of opportunities, risks and suggested next steps. Teams can then interrogate the analysis with follow-up questions, test assumptions and explore new angles as they go, making the platform 'a live research partner,' according to the firm.
The platform incorporates licensed industry data from IBISWorld, and data from the U.S. Census Bureau, Bureau of Labor Statistics, and Bureau of Economic Analysis. CEO Tarek Bukai (pictured) comments: 'The new problem is not getting an answer. It is knowing whether the market supports it and what to do next. My work across investment, risk, and business advisory has always come back to the same questions: what does the market show, where is the risk, and what should happen next? That thinking shaped Intellihance.'
