Forrester Q2 Revenue Drops to c.$100 Million

Forrester Research has announced revenue of $100.2 million for the second quarter ended June 30th, down 10.3% versus a year earlier. Adjusted income from operations fell 23.5% to $10.4m.

George ColonyRevenue from the largest division, Research, was down 8.0% to $71.7m, having held up relatively well in the first quarter, while Consulting was down 14.7% to $20.0m, and Events dropped 17.2% to $8.5m. The company's sales have been falling for some time, and CEO and Chairman George F. Colony (pictured) focused in his comments on the changes taking place in its products and delivery methods, stating: 'We are reinventing the research and advisory business for the AI era through our technology innovation and partnerships. In the second half of the year, we will follow our Microsoft Teams and Copilot integration efforts with additional new products and capabilities. We will focus on enhancing the capabilities of Forrester AI to enable our clients to access our research insights effortlessly - in their own work environments.'

The firm is maintaining its guidance for 2026 - revenues of c.$350.0m to $360.0m, and operating margin of c.-3.5% to -3.0% - and has restarted a stock buyback program.
