Former Uber Ads Exec Joins PubMatic as Global CRO
Ad tech company PubMatic has appointed former Uber Advertising and Google exec Megan Ramm as Global Chief Revenue Officer, based in New York.
PubMatic operates a unified sell-side ad platform bringing together buyers, publishers, data partners, and commerce media networks, and allowing digital content creators to control access to their inventory while reaching addressable audiences across ad formats and devices. Eight months ago the company partnered with interactive CTV company BrightLine, promising advertisers the ability to connect engagement to verified purchase outcomes, at scale.
The CRO hire follows a strong second quarter performance, announced last week, which saw the company return to double-digit revenue growth ahead of schedule, along with expanded profitability.
Ramm joins from Uber Advertising, where she served as Head of Global Sales. Before this she was an early sales leader at Snap, and spent six years at Google on search and programmatic sales. She began her media career at Forbes and Reuters. In her new role, she will lead PubMatic's global revenue strategy and execution across publisher and buyer teams in the Americas, EMEA and APAC, with a focus on expanding the company's position across performance advertising, connected TV, mobile app and agentic advertising.
Co-founder and CEO Rajeev Goel comments: 'As our AI-native capabilities prove themselves with advertisers and agencies, we need a leader who can scale those relationships and capture the market opportunity ahead. Megan is the one to lead that charge. She understands the full advertiser journey and has a proven track record of building high-performing sales organisations.'
