New MR Recruitment Specialist Launches

In the UK, specialist MR staff recruiter James Webb has departed ENI to launch his own agency, Talent Hatch, with his wife Christy who brings marketing and strategy experience from major client side consumer firms.

Christy WebbJames Webb worked at long-established MR recruitment company ENI (Elizabeth Norman International) for thirteen years, joining as a graduate recruiter and progressing to Director - in this time he says he placed more than 500 candidates across more than ten markets. Christy Webb has spent a dozen years in marketing and commercial strategy roles at Deliveroo, Whitbread and Greene King.

Talent Hatch will recruit across research, insight, data and marketing sectors, making extensive use of technology, and in particular AI with which James Webb is 'borderline obsessed' - to automate parts of the process. However, the founders stress that 'keeping the experience human for both clients and candidates is at the heart of the business.'

The firm has so far onboarded twelve clients across the UK, US and Germany. 'The research and insight industry is alive with energy' says Christy Webb, 'and our clients are ambitious, fast-moving businesses, which is both challenging and exciting... We have huge ambitions for the business and really are just getting started.'

James WebbFuture plans include international expansion, building a programme of events 'to bring the research and insight community together,' and development of a graduate programme, enabling career pathways into research and insight recruitment for school leavers and graduates. James Webb comments: 'Both Christy and I are so passionate about the industry. We'd love to help develop future research and insight experts, to bring new talent and perspectives into the space.'
