PatientSight Launches Rare Disease Benchmarking

PatientSight, a US-based research company focused on rare and complex diseases, has launched the Patient Experience Benchmark Report (PEBR), which it says converts its insights into a structured, quant framework companies can use to evaluate and improve their performance.

PatientSight imageHeadquartered in Yardley, PA, PatientSight helps life science organizations understand how people living with serious diseases experience their conditions, treatments and interactions with the healthcare system.

The framework translates key healthcare milestones into standardized patient-reported measures, allowing life sciences firms that already conduct qual work and individual projects to develop longer-term KPIs concerning patient experience. The PEBR can be a custom study or a syndicated report for a particular therapeutic area, and should be repeated over time to measures trends and evaluate progress in patient experience. Reporting can be via a PowerPoint deck or via an interactive platform complete with AI-enabled queries.

Kirsten York, President of Patient Experience organization ENTRADA says of the new offering: 'Understanding the patient experience in your disease category has always been critical but knowing how well you are doing compared to others is a whole new level of insight. The most successful brands go deepest on the patient journey and build strategies that truly meet those needs. Patient experience benchmarking now gives us a way to measure how effectively brands are actually delivering against their category and even their own company, introducing an entirely new level of credibility to what it means to truly put the patient first.'
