Tu Steps Up to Lead Ipsos in the UK and Ireland
Ipsos has appointed Trinh Tu as its CEO in the UK & Ireland, replacing Kelly Beaver who was recently promoted to Global CEO.
Tu (pictured) joined the company in 2003 as a graduate, and later served as Head of the Employment, Welfare and Skills Policy and Research practice, and as Head of Business Growth, Public Affairs. Late in 2021 she was promoted to MD of Public Affairs, a title she has held since, also serving as a member of the UK Management Board. She also brings significant board and governance experience, and is Vice Chair of UK for UNHCR as well as Chair of its Remuneration Committee.
In her new role, Tu reports directly to Beaver (who took the global top job a month ago), and will join the group's Executive Management Committee. 'Trinh brings an exceptional combination of commercial leadership, client focus and deep knowledge of Ipsos,' says Beaver. 'Throughout her career, she has demonstrated her ability to grow businesses, develop innovative services and lead with clarity.'
Tu herself comments: 'Having spent my career at Ipsos, it is a huge honour to be asked to lead our UK & Ireland business. I know the talent, expertise and commitment of our people, and I am enormously proud of what our teams achieve for our wide spectrum of clients. I look forward to building on our momentum and working together to deliver Horizons and the next phase of our growth.'
