Two Senior Appointments for MMR
Global consumer and sensory specialist MMR Research has brought back former employee Chris Sinclair as Global Commercial Director and promoted Laura Smith to Global Head of Marketing.
MMR helps food, beverage and personal care brands make better innovation and product decisions through a combination of behavioural science, sensory expertise and AI-powered analytics. The firm has expanded its offer for international CPG brands in recent years, across the US and Asia, investing in its end-to-end testing platform Product Hub and strategy consultancy Huxly.
Sinclair (pictured above) returns to the firm after two decades in senior commercial roles elsewhere, including executive positions at Ipsos across Europe and the US, and most recently as global practice leader for NIQ Innovation at NIQ BASES.
Smith (pictured below) originally joined the business as marketing assistant in 2015, and has helped to shape the company's brand voice, demand generation and global marketing execution. The two will work closely together as part of what the firm describes as 'a newly joined-up commercial and marketing function, drawing on the firm's insight and thought leadership to engage clients on growth opportunities.
'Chris has a wealth of client facing experience,' says CEO Mat Lintern, 'with a strong innovation slant and deep product expertise, making him the ideal person to build connection with our clients and continue to facilitate MMR's impressive growth. Having grown through the ranks, Laura is a real internal success story and she brings tremendous energy and fresh ideas to the leadership of our highly impactful marketing team.'
