Raft of Senior Appointments for maslansky
Omnicom-owned communications consultancy maslansky + partners has promoted Keith Yazmir to President and Catherine Farr to EVP; expanded the role of Jaime Hodges, now leading Research & Innovation; and brought in two new partners, Katherine Hettrich and Amanda Kealey.
maslansky + partners defines its core expertise as 'Language Strategy - the singular discipline of finding precisely the right words to shape opinion and change behavior'. The firm says the appointments will help it to seize current opportunities by deepening its expertise in healthcare and life sciences, accelerating its synthetic research capabilities through its CHORUS platform, and 'doubling down on' the quality of its work for clients.
Yazmir is a Founding Partner in the company and has worked there for two decades, helping to build key client relationships across pharmaceuticals, technology, travel and automotive. He will now lead growth initiatives, with a specific focus on strengthening how the firm works across Omnicom Public Relations and the broader Omnicom network, of which the firm is a subsidiary. CEO Michael Maslansky says of the promotion: 'For twenty years, Keith Yazmir has pushed me and everyone here for a little bit more on behalf of our clients. A bit more insight, a bit more impact, a bit more storytelling. Keith's tireless efforts to deliver great work and to help elevate the practice of language strategy have been critical in helping us grow consistently over two decades. Now, I am proud to see him take on this new role as President and excited for what's to come.'
Hettrich (pictured left) brings more than twenty years' experience from management consulting and global healthcare agencies, including ZS Associates, Ogilvy and Publicis Healthcare, helping pharma giants define how new therapies are understood and adopted.
Kealey (pictured right) has also spent two decades of experience, in her case combining insights, strategy and communications. She is an anthropologist by training, and has led global health and science teams at Hall & Partners, Brado, and most recently Shapiro+Raj.
Hodges joined as SVP and Head of Quant in 2022, and now adds the broader title of Head of Research & Innovation, bringing together the firm's quantitative and synthetic research capabilities under one roof. In the past four years she has led the development of the Persuasive Strength and Creative Strength methodologies, along with the CHORUS platform. CEO Maslansky comments: 'Jaime has helped advance the state of the art in Language Strategy research, building purpose-built methodologies that bring powerful insights to clients. Her work uncovering the power of Receptographics is just the latest example.'
Farr, who is based in D.C., has twelve years' experience in communications consultancy for companies and trade associations across pharma, energy, financial services and technology. She will continue leading a team of language strategists while taking on expanded responsibility for key client relationships and the firm's overall approach to Language Strategy.
