Former Criteo CPO to Lead Prodege

Consumer marketing and research platform Prodege has appointed former Criteo exec Todd Parsons as Chief Executive, starting on 1st October.

Todd Parsons, new CEO of ProdegeHeadquartered in California, Prodege combines market research, loyalty programs and performance marketing campaigns, helping clients to understand, reach and grow their customer base. Its growth has been accelerated by the acquisitions of German tech-based market research and sample supply company BitBurst, mobile survey platform Pollfish and digital ad company AdGate Media, and for the past two years its offer has included a conversational AI feature allowing simultaneous engagement with multiple survey participants.

Chuck Davis, who had served as Prodege's Chief Executive since 2014, left the role a year ago and stepped down as Chairman earlier this year, replaced in the latter role by Chris Ney.

Parsons has been building products and businesses at the intersection of consumer behavior, commerce, data and technology for more than twenty years, most recently as CPO and President of Performance Media at PR company Criteo, where he helped to advance commerce, first-party data, self-service and AI capabilities. This included developing a conversational AI advertising offer, helping to lead a partnership bringing Criteo's advertising capabilities to ChatGPT. Before Criteo, he worked in product leadership at SocialCode, OpenX and Acxiom's Marketing Services business; and founded two venture-backed companies, BuzzLogic and Aditive.

'Todd has built his career by understanding how major technology shifts reshape the relationship among consumers, brands, and platforms,' says Ney, 'and by translating those shifts into products and businesses that deliver measurable value. That perspective is especially relevant today as AI changes how people discover, decide, and engage with businesses. Todd brings a builder's mindset, significant operating experience, and a strong record of product leadership. We believe he is the right leader to guide Prodege into its next chapter.'
