Burke Promotes Farrar to Head of Client Services

US-based decision intelligence and MR training company Burke, Inc. has appointed longstanding employee Thania Farrar as SVP, Head of Client Services. She succeeds Sandip Narang, who recently retired after 26 years with the company.

Thania FarrarHeadquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, Burke is 100% employee-owned and just five years away from celebrating its centenary. Its services include custom quant and qual MR, customer and employee engagement programs, strategic and organizational consulting, and one of the world's best-known programmes of training for research practitioners.

Farrar (pictured) first joined the company in 1999 and served as an Account Manager. She returned to the firm in 2010 after a six-year spell at TNS, and has since held leadership roles across Client Services, Marketing, and Innovation. She is promoted from the role of SVP Corporate Innovation, where she helped drive the evolution of the firm's offerings beyond traditional market research, developing its capabilities in strategic consulting, CX, brand strategy, innovation, and data intelligence. She holds an MBA from the University of Cincinnati and a bachelor's degree in Business and Marketing from Universidad Internacional de las Américas in Costa Rica.

In her new role, partnering with leaders from across the organization, she will guide Burke's client-centric approach to its work, including the delivery of a seamless, integrated client experience. She will also oversee marketing and growth initiatives, helping strengthen the alignment between client engagement, market strategy, and business development.

Company President and CEO Tara Marotti says Farrar's 'leadership, vision and commitment to clients make her the ideal person to lead the Client Services team.' Tharang joined Burke in 2000 as Group Manager in Decision Sciences, and had served in SVP roles since 2019.
