Funds and New Advisor for Optimize GEO
Los Altos, CA-based AI search optimization platform Optimize GEO has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from backers including MediaLink founder Michael Kassan, valuing the company at $80m. The funds are earmarked for expansion, scaling operations and continued platform development.
The firm was founded by Kirthiga Reddy and Saurabh Doshi, and helps brands measure and manage their exposure across AI platforms including ChatGPT, Claude, Google AI, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot. This includes analyzing visibility, share of voice, sentiment and citations, and the platform also uses its own agents to implement recommended changes in media, content and retail strategies, as well as technical updates. Analytics drills down to city and regional level, and supports multi-brand and multi-market management.
Reddy was the first employee and MD of Facebook India, while Doshi is a former APAC MD of Meta. Kassan, who is also the founder and CEO of investor 3C Ventures, joins OptimizeGEO as a strategic advisor with expertise in GTM strategy, enterprise relationships and ecosystem partnerships. As an investor, he joins a large number of individual backers as well as Young Capital, who led the pre-Series A round.
In a statement on their web site, Reddy and Doshi said: 'The rapid adoption of OptimizeGEO and vote of confidence from Michael and our other advisors and investors solidifies our projection that GEO is the biggest marketing opportunity of this era. As we continue to listen closely to the market, innovate rapidly and expand our platform from intelligence to implementation and measurable growth, Kassan has an invaluable instinct for category creation.'
Kassan, quoted on Ad Week, adds: 'GEO is bigger than the evolution of search, changing how consumers are discovering brands,' and suggests that with the rise of AI search, traditional search pages 'may disappear entirely.'
