New Partner for BPI
Strategy and measurement firm BPI has appointed Katie Cronen as a Partner, based in New York and strengthening its solutions in audience intelligence, research and strategic communications.
BPI brings together audience understanding, strategy, persuasion and measurement. Its offer includes strategic planning, policy and cultural intelligence, message development and testing, creative and content strategy and development, advocate and stakeholder engagement, and outcomes measurement and evaluation. The acronym stands for Bully Pulpit International - a bully pulpit being 'a position of authority that provides you the platform to drive change through powerful communications' - the phrase was coined by President Theodore Roosevelt.
Cronen (pictured) brings experience across narrative and message strategy, communications and marketing research, reputation and issues response, and exec communications - much of it in highly regulated sectors including healthcare, biopharmaceuticals, financial services, automotive and food. She joins from Carter Intelligence Group, where she was a Partner, and earlier spent fifteen years at maslansky + partners, leading client strategy and strategic messaging across a portfolio of major companies and organizations. In her new role, she will work across BPI to help clients translate audience research into communications strategy, message framing and execution.
CEO Andrew Bleeker comments, 'In deeply technical industries like healthcare, the science and strategy can be strong, but those alone don't change perceptions. Katie has a rare ability to distill complex topics to tight, actionable messages that resonate with stakeholders.'
