Vision One Hires Head of Qual
British-based MR company Vision One has appointed former Danone and Screwfix insight leader Helen Jones as Head of Qualitative Research.
 Vision One was founded in 1999 by Tony Lewis and Jas Gidda, and has locations in London, Liverpool and Birmingham. The firm specialises in consumer psychology, customer experience, behavioural insights and brand momentum strategies, and boasts its own specialist face-to-face and telephone research fieldwork services. Its qual research tools include focus groups, ethnography, eye tracking and behavioural science.
Jones (pictured) brings more than twenty years' experience in consumer research and strategic planning. She has spent the past four years as a freelance insight consultant, including a spell as Insight Manager at fashion retail company Freemans Grattan Holdings; and before that worked for more than eleven years as Insight Director at PR and communications firm Tribe. Earlier she was Consumer Insight Manager at Danone for four years, RM at Screwfix for three and also worked in marketing and insight at Argos. She holds a BSc in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Leeds, and is a nutritionist and NLP coach.
In her new role, she will lead Vision One's qual team, focused on helping clients understand the motivations, emotions and experiences shaping customer behaviour, and act on them. Vision One says her appointment strengthens its commitment to delivering deeper human understanding alongside its wider research capabilities, including the use and integration of AI where beneficial. CEO Tony Lewis comments: 'AI helps analyse more information, but insight comes from understanding its meaning. Helen brings the expertise needed to reveal the human stories behind the data, aiding better decisions for our clients.'
