Criteo Expands CTV Outcomes Measures Beyond US
Commerce intelligence platform Criteo is to roll out its Performance Connected TV (CTV) capabilities to at least nine new markets. Currently available only in the US, the tools will launch in Brazil and Mexico within two months, followed by Canada, Australia and Europe's big five economies next year.
Criteo's 'Commerce Media Platform' uses consumer purchase intent and other data from more than 740 million daily shoppers and $1 trillion in annual commerce sales, from thousands of partners in digital and off-line retail, to help clients connect with shoppers, facilitate product discovery, measure outcomes and personalize experiences. The firm announced last week that it will redomicile from France to the United States (via Luxembourg) via a cross-border merger, and will list on the New York Stock Exchange.
The company's Performance CTV offering, available through its demand platform Commerce Growth, provides closed-loop measurement capabilities to help advertisers connect CTV ad exposure to shopper visits, conversions and sales, as consumers move across channels and devices. Criteo says its CTV business is on track to double over the last three months, with active campaigns now spanning verticals including apparel, travel, home and furnishing, consumer electronics, and automotive.
CEO Michael Komasinski says CTV represents 'a significant growth opportunity for Criteo,' and adds: 'The early momentum we're seeing in the US is fueling our global expansion as we bring our Performance CTV offering to a broader advertiser base and look to capture a greater share of this growing market.' Unspecified 'select additional markets' are also scheduled for roll-out in 2027.
