JioStar Hire Strengthens Sports Research Team

Former Ipsos and Kantar researcher Pankti Sidhpura has joined Indian media group JioStar as Research Manager, Sports.

JioStar is a media and entertainment company whose television network and streaming service together reach more than 800 million viewers every week. The company was formed two years ago as a joint venture between Disney India, Reliance Industries and the latter's subsidiary Viacom18. Its sports coverage includes football, kabaddi, tennis and of course, the IPL; and its research and measurement partners include Nielsen.

Sidhpura (pictured) worked as an RM at consumer and culture research company Third Eye Integrated Services between 2023 and this year, and has also worked as an RE at Ipsos, a Research Manager at MarketVistas, and a Senior Account Manager at Kantar - all based in Mumbai.
