Fresh Minds' Founder Named Again

Caroline Plumb, 26-year-old founder of research and graduate recruitment company Fresh Minds appears for the second time in Management Today's '35 Under 35' list of Britain's highest-flying young businesswomen.

The youngest person on the list, Plumb has become a spokeswoman for British entrepreneurs since she co-founded FreshMinds shortly after her own graduation in 2000. The company's turnover last year reached £2.8m and is forecast to hit £5.5m this year. Talking of her dedication to the company, Plumb told Management Today: 'For me, work and life get mixed. As an entrepreneur, work is more of a passion. I feel like it's my choice and that I'm in control.'

The company offers research outsourcing - managing the entire research needs of an organisation - as well as ad hoc primary and secondary research and analysis projects. According to Plumb: 'The idea behind FreshMinds is to harness top brains, typically people in the first 10 years of their career.'
