Expansion for Simpson Carpenter
UK-based research and consulting firm Simpson Carpenter has added six new research staff over the last few months, with new appointments in its Retail and Consumer, Telecoms and Technology, Advanced Methods, and Automotive departments.
Caroline Osborne and Sarah Brown have joined the company's Retail and Consumer division. Osborne has previously worked as Customer Insights Manager at Sainsbury's, and Research Manager at Superdrug Stores. She also has 10 years' research agency experience, including advertising tracking, customer satisfaction, concept and product development, brand image and positioning work and segmentation studies.
Brown began her career as a research fellow at UCLA's Department of Sociology where she worked on qualitative projects. She also co-founded a small chain of garden product stores. More recently, Sarah has combined her academic and business experience in MR, where she has addressed advertising, branding and merchandising issues for FMCG and retail clients.
Emma Sullivan and Jonathon Stone are new additions to the Telecoms and Technology division. Sullivan came to the company from ORC International, where she worked for three years in the IT/Telecoms division. Stone was previously Head of Research at a strategic marketing consultancy.
Angela Jung joined the company to support its growing advanced analytical division. She has an MSc in Econometrics from the London School of Economics (LSE), and is currently working on econometric & statistical modelling and segmentation.
Rob Langston, now in Simpson Carpenter's Automotive division, joined from the Automotive department at TNS. He has also worked for Mitsubishi and Citroen in sales and marketing, as well as the customer insight department at Thomas Cook.
