Bravo Group Hires Informer Founder

US Hispanic marketing and communications agency The Bravo Group has appointed Graham Hall, founder of youth brand agency Informer, as Chief Insights Officer. The role includes responsibilities for consumer research methodologies; research philosophy and approach; and account planning functions, with an emphasis on cultural and youth insights.

Hall has been involved in research, brand and advertising development since 1983, including experience on both client and agency sides in the UK and US. In the 1990s, he founded Informer, an agency that specialised in understanding the attitudes of 15- to 30 year-olds. The company was involved in the US TRUTH anti-tobacco campaign.

Gary Bassell, Chairman and CEO of The Bravo Group, says that planning is still in its infancy in the Hispanic market, and that this appointment represents a 'definitive move to enhance the planning centricity of our culture at The Bravo Group'.

Hall says is joining Bravo because he wants to 'engage with the hot issue currently in greatest need of new insight and energy. Just as youth was the major marketing issue of the 1990s, so cross-cultural marketing is today's social zeitgeist'.

The Bravo Group combines expertise in advertising; research and strategic planning; marketing; media planning/buying; and public relations. The company is online at www.thebravogroup.com.
