New President for GfK Strategic Marketing

Martin Glogowski, previously Head of Research at NOP World Health, has been named President of GfK Strategic Marketing - formerly known as Strategic Marketing Corporations, and now part of GfK's US Healthcare Companies group. Four other new researchers have also joined the company.

Glogowski has more than 30 years' experience in healthcare marketing research. Prior to his new role, he was Senior VP and Head of Research for NOP World Health, which was then the parent company for Strategic Marketing Corporations. He has also worked at TNS Healthcare, ImpactRx and IMS Health Consulting, as well as ICI Pharma (now AstraZeneca) on the client side. He is a member of the Pharmaceutical Marketing Research Group (PMRG) and one of the founders of the Pharmaceutical Management Science Association (PMSA).

Glogowski says the company's new parent company, GfK, is 'fully supportive', and says his company is 'taking advantage of opportunities to grow'.

The company has also hired Lana Limpert as Senior Consultant. She joins from TechniClarity, where she was a Principal. Limpert is experienced in qualitative marketing research methodologies in the pharma and healthcare sectors.

Elly Simmons, Consultant, was formerly an Associate Director with GfK Martin Hamblin, responsible for client service, research planning, and leading research projects.
Alexander London and Tom Alesi join the company as Research Analysts. London was previously a research analyst with SMART Marketing Group, and Alesi worked as MR Analyst with Merion Publications.
