Ipsos Launches East European Panels
Ipsos Interactive Services Europe (IIS Europe) has announced the expansion of its European Online Panel to five Eastern European countries: Hungary, Poland, Romania, Russia and the Czech Republic.
Ipsos says that an Internet penetration rate ranging from 20-35% shows that these countries are now ready for online research, and that the five new panels 'constitute a starting point and will be increased as appropriate in order to respond to clients' needs'. Recruitment has begun for an initial 10,000 panellists in each country, using a variety of sources 'in order to cover a large sample of the online population'.
IIS Europe currently runs panels in 12 European countries using a pool of over 550,000 people. Ipsos aims to build panels 'in all markets where the company is present'.
IIS Europe's products include Concept testing, Ad Pre-testing, Ad Post-testing, employee surveys, customer satisfaction surveys and new media. IIS Europe is in charge of all Ipsos Europe Access Panels, and is online at www.ipsos-interactive.com.
