PRIMIS Buys MarketModels

US-based PRIMIS Marketing Group has acquired MarketModels, a provider of data analytics, modeling and data integration solutions. Founder Brad Mitchell will continue as President and General Manager of MarketModels, reporting to John Healy, President and CEO of PRIMIS.

Established in 1999, MarketModels provides database marketing, data management and analytics services, including profile, predictive and segmentation models at both the business and consumer level. The company serves more than 1,000 clients in the financial services, technology, telecoms, higher education, and CPG sectors. There are no planned organisational changes following the acquisition, and the company will continue to operate under the same name from its HQ in Wickford, Rhode Island.

Since its formation in 2003, PRIMIS has made two other acquisitions - Hyphos360, a database development and hosting company, in 2004, and AccuData America, a marketing data and services company, in 2003. The latest purchase follows the appointment of direct marketing specialists Coy Clement and Jamie Crouthamel to the PRIMIS Board of Directors.

Healy, CEO of PRIMIS says the acquisition enhances his company's 'ability to provide fully integrated multi-channel marketing data and data management solutions'. Mitchell states that MarketModels will also benefit: 'With the added capabilities of AccuData America and Hypos360, we now offer clients a complete suite of services that supports comprehensive marketing processes for customer retention acquisition.'
