Consumer Technology Expert Joins ABI
New York-based ABI Research has appointed Michael Wolf, formerly of In-Stat, as Principal Analyst in the company's broadband and residential entertainment technologies group.
At In-Stat, Wolf pioneered the company's research into home networking and digital consumer media and content. He has also worked as Director of Consumer Digital Imaging at InfoTrends, and Director of Strategic Planning for semiconductor distributor Avnet.
Wolf has been a columnist for Network World, and has published a book on home networking technology. He has an MBA from Thunderbird, the Garvin School of International Management.
According to ABI Research VP Edward Rerisi, 'market boundaries are being redrawn as broadband networks converge with consumer electronics devices'. He adds that Wolf's 'keen understanding of these changes will bolster ABI Research's coverage, while better preparing our clients for what lies ahead'.
ABI Research, which specialises in automotive, wireless, semiconductors, broadband, and energy sectors, is online at www.abiresearch.com.
