Research Now Launches BtoB Panels
UK-based online fieldwork firm Research Now has screened its existing 800,000 panel members to form specialist business-to-business sub-panels, comprising 75,000 business professionals across the UK, Germany, France, Spain and Italy.
Panel members are profiled according to one of ten management levels, as well as job function (eg finance, HR, IT, manufacturing, marketing, operations, purchasing, sales) and the size of their company.
Research Now has also examined levels of decision-making ability in specific business sectors so it is possible to target, for example, IT decision-makers, buyers of office furniture, or those responsible for choosing couriers and parcel services.
Research Now's BtoB panel specialist, Alex Sunnerstam, says the sub-panels were formed 'in response to client demand for more targeted information for business to business research', and that they 'provide a reliable source of sample for a range of business-to-business research projects'.
According to Andrew Cooper, MD of Research Now: 'This is the first stage in building extensive specialist business-to-business panels. The next stage is to take this across more European countries and to provide access to more specialist decision makers.'
