New Director for InsightExpress
US online agency InsightExpress has appointed Erica DesRoches to the newly created position of Director of Market Research, reporting to Chief Research Officer Enrico Rodriguez.
As well as designing, managing and delivering studies, DesRoches will work closely with Rodriguez to help manage the team. She joins from TNS NFO where she was an Account Manager & On-Site Analyst, responsible for leading research projects for two business units of a major pharmaceutical client. Before joining TNS NFO, she spent five years at IBM, managing worldwide MR in the PC Division and then as a Consultant for the Sales & Distribution division. Prior to IBM she worked at DDB Needham Worldwide Advertising as part of the Analytical Resources Group. She has a Ph.D. in Marketing Communication from the University of Connecticut, and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Florida.
Rodriguez says the MR team has grown significantly in the past six months. 'I'm very excited to have Erica on board, as her research skills and industry experience will enhance our analytics capabilities considerably.'
Earlier this week, the company announced two new positions within its Client Services Group, with Niki Tyson joining its Technology sector and Adam Brucker joining Media, both as Senior Account Executives. Tyson joins from TNS NFO, and worked previously at Maritz Market Research and SRI; Brucker is a former employee of InsightExpress who returns to MR after a year launching his own wine business, and was previously a Sales Director at Compete Inc. Before hie first stint at InsightExpress, he worked at Jupiter Media Metrix and Mainspring Consulting.
