Ten Senior Appointments at Forrester

US technology researcher Forrester has announced a raft of senior hires made in recent months. The ten new arrivals have an average of 18 years of experience in their fields of expertise.

The appointments include:
  • Brad M. Bortner - Director, Custom Research (CR), the Americas. Bortner worked at comScoreQ(2), Censydiam USA, and MSI Consulting.
  • Nigel Fenwick - VP and Practice Leader, Forrester Leadership Boards, IT Programs, the Americas. Fenwick's career history includes stints at companies including BizBrick, Transatlantic Software, and Reebok International.
  • Dwight Griesman - VP and Practice Leader, Forrester Leadership Boards, Marketing Programs, the Americas. Griesman has worked for The Forbes Consulting Group, Hasbro, and Welch's.
  • Dennis Kanemitsu - VP of Sales and Marketing, Asia Pacific (AP). Kanemitsu is a veteran in technology-related businesses, who has held positions at IBM, Extricity Software, and Informix.
  • Jan Louwes - VP of Sales, EMEA, who previously held senior posts at KPN NV and KPN subsidiaries (Netherlands), AT&T and AT&T Unisource (USA), and ABN AMRO.
  • Fiona McDonnell - Director of Marketing, EMEA, who initially joined Forrester as a senior research analyst covering marketing, and assumed overall marketing management responsibilities last year . Before joining, she served in management positions at Nike European Operations NBV (Netherlands), and PriceWaterhouseCoopers and the Kellogg Company in the UK.
  • David Metcalfe - Senior VP of Research, EMEA. Metcalfe returned to Forrester in 2005 after working as head of analysis and forecasting at BT.
  • Mark R. Nemec, Ph.D. - VP, Forrester Leadership Boards, the Americas. Nemec held senior positions at The Advisory Board Company, served on the faculty of Davidson College, and recently published the book Ivory Towers and Nationalist Minds.
  • Ian Taylor - Head of Forrester Leadership Boards, EMEA. Prior to joining Forrester, Taylor held top positions at Intershop, EDS, and Metromedia Fiber Networks.
  • Paul Warren - VP and Practice Leader for Consulting, the Americas. Warren returns to Forrester after spending six years in executive roles at technology and professional service firms. He has also worked at Back Bay Technologies, Breakaway Solutions, and Malden Mills Industries.
