IRI Launch Offers Tailored Intelligence On Demand

US-based Information Resources, Inc. (IRI) has announced the launch of IRI MarketView On Demand™, a web-based suite giving small and medium-sized CPG manufacturers and others 24/7 access to individually configured sales and market intelligence information.

IRI MarketView On Demand, which launches at the end of July, allows users to select from a pre-configured set of best practice report templates, each addressing a set of specific CPG questions. Reports can be configured with specific geographies, products and time periods to match individual businesses' needs.

The service extracts data directly from the company's syndicated retail tracking service, IRI InfoScan® Reviews™, and delivers reports in Microsoft Excel format, no more than 24 hours later. Users can select manufacturer, brand or UPC-level information and can use either standard or retailer-defined geographies.

Best practice templates give decision makers a targeted view of a wide variety of business performance indicators, including:
  • Product performance ranking
  • Retail account and market performance
  • Trend and cross-category performance
  • Market development
  • Emerging new products
  • Distribution, pricing and promotion summary
  • Wal-Mart top line and trending.
