New Contract for Rousseau

Satellite and wireless technology specialist NSR has hired Claude Rousseau, a veteran of the space industry, as Analyst, Satellite Communications, based in Strasbourg, France.

Rousseau will direct both multi-client research reports and consulting projects and will be a key element of NSR presence in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) markets. He will also develop research products for the mobile satellite services (MSS) and government satellite communications markets.

He has more than 15 years of experience in the space sector in various roles, including business and program management, consulting, research, administration and communications. He began his career Ottawa, Canada as Special Assistant for space and science in the Office of the Minister of Industry, Science and Technology, joined the Canadian Space Agency in 1992 in Montreal, Canada where he worked as an Analyst and Strategic Planner. He joined the International Space University (ISU) in Strasbourg in a training and events role in 1999, then co-founded Futuraspace, an international space consulting company with bases in California and France, becoming involved with research and consulting projects.

He holds a B.Sc. in Physics/Astrophysics from the University of Calgary, Canada and a Master of Space Studies (MSS) from the International Space University in Strasbourg, France.
