European Upgrade for Oncology Study

Synovate Healthcare has announced developments in the European arm of its Global Tandem Oncology Monitor. The study will increase its report frequency from quarterly to monthly, matching the US arm; and will give immediate access to monthly data online using SPSS' mrTables software.

The new developments follow the expansion of the Monitor into China, Australia and Korea this year, adding to the existing US, European and Japanese arms.

From August, patient demographics and market shares will be reported monthly, making the Monitor the most frequently updated shared oncology prescribing information source on both sides of the Atlantic.

Also from August, in response to client requests, the Monitor will incorporate EphMRA's Anatomical Therapeutic Classification (ATC) system, allowing more flexible segmentation analysis.

According to Leah Krukowski, Head of the European Tandem Oncology Monitor, 'Oncology is a rapidly growing market for our clients and these exciting developments demonstrate Synovate Healthcare's commitment to ongoing investment in this area. This is just one in a series of steps that will provide our expanding client base with the highest quality oncology data in the most timely fashion.'

The division is online at www.synovate.com/healthcare .
