Worldwide Qual Role for Greenfield

Millward Brown has appointed Andy Greenfield, currently CEO of its North American qualitative division Greenfield Consulting Group, to oversee all its qual services worldwide. He also joins the firm's main Board.

In addition to founding Greenfield Consulting Group in 1983, he launched pioneering online researcher Greenfield Online in 1994. He will retain the North American position alongside his new title of Chairman of MB's Global Qualitative Practice and will report directly to Bob Meyers, CEO, Millward Brown Group.

Meyers says the appointment is 'the next step in a global strategy implemented in 1999 with Millward Brown's acquisitions of leading qualitative firms around the world. Andy's leadership role will provide our organization with the ability to better meet the rapidly evolving needs of our clients worldwide.'

Greenfield has a bachelor's degree from Colgate University and a Master of Arts and A.B.D. from Brown University. He received the 2001 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the business services category. He comments: 'I see tremendous opportunity to grow our global qualitative practice through increased levels of global collaboration, project execution and shared best practices.'

Millward Brown is part of Kantar, WPP's insight, information and consultancy arm, and is online at www.millwardbrown.com .
