GMI Adds to Senior Team
Panels and software firm GMI (Global Market Insite, Inc.) has appointed a CFO, Michael Vernon, and a new VP of Human Resources, Judy Loucks.
Vernon joins from the public-traded Internet technology company aQuantive Inc. of Seattle, where he was CFO for almost six years. He previously worked in C-level positions with Park Plaza International, Red Lion Hotels and the Port of Sacramento, Calif. He holds an MBA and a B.S. in Mathematics from Stanford University.
Loucks joins from Community Health Network of Washington, where she spent three years as VP Human Resources and Organizational Effectiveness. She was previously VP, HR for Philips Oral Healthcare (formerly Optiva Corporation), and worked previously at Nichirei Foods America and Security Properties Investment, Inc.. She holds a B.A. in political science from the University of Montana, and an M.A. in organizational development from Antioch University in Seattle.
CEO and founder Rob Monster says both new arrivals have worked successfully in rapid-growth environments, but also bring the operating experience required to deliver the firm's standard of 'predictable and consistent support'. Both will be based at GMI's global headquarters in Mercer Island, WA, and report directly to Monster.
