Cathy Marlow Murder: Man Released
Police have released without charge the man they were holding in connection with the murder of Research Now Finance Manager Cathy Marlow, and have appealed for information about the handbag she was carrying on Saturday.
A police source told London's Metro publication that the arrested man arrived at the offices with 'a small group of friends, including the victim's best friend' just after 9pm, telling them to wait outside – he then discovered the body 'slumped in the shower... in a pool of blood', according to the police. Yesterday the cause of her death was confirmed as asphyxiation.
Police say they have 'some very viable lines of enquiry', but particularly wish to trace the small brown leather bag which has a distinctive flap with a silver dome clasp.
