Direct Response Researchers Join Forces

Grizzard Communications Group has acquired Seattle-based research consultancy AnalyticalOne LLC, for an undisclosed sum, and appointed its founder Bill Jacobs as Vice President of Research & Analytics.

AnalyticalOne was founded in 2002 and provides database analytical solutions and primary research services. Jacobs brings over 17 years experience in the marketing research field and has spent the last ten years focused on direct response, working with leading nonprofit organizations including World Vision and Compassion International; and conducting surveys and focus groups for public and private sector organizations. Over the last four years he has also taught courses at Seattle Pacific University on advertising, marketing and marketing research, and in the past 12 months his writing has been featured in Newsweek, The New York Times, CNBC and the Chicago Tribune.

Chip Grizzard, CEO of the Grizzard Communications Group says his firm is 'thrilled' to have Jacobs on the team, adding: 'This strategic specialization will expand and deepen Grizzard's brand development offerings.'

Lisa Pang, Director of Donor Insight and Value Optimization at World Vision, says Jacobs has 'the uncanny ability to translate complex data into insightful knowledge that drives effective decision-making for an organization' and enabled her organisation to understand its donors 'in new and effective ways.'

Grizzard has added a number of other high-profile players in recent months. Veteran direct marketing exec Barbara Johnson joined in September 2006 as VP of Grizzard Signature Group; Kenneth Moy joined in July as Chief Creative Officer and Senior Strategist; and in March 2006 Jennifer Jones was appointed as an Account Director.
