CMO Partners Joins MarketingNPV
In the US, marketing consultancy CMO Partners has merged with marketing effectiveness measurement and dashboard specialist MarketingNPV, with CMO Partners Dave Reibstein and Peter McNally join the expanded team.
The merger aims to create a platform from which to demonstrate the link between marketing expenditure and financial outcome.
Managing Partner of MarketingNPV, Pat LaPoint, comments: 'Dave and his colleague Peter are world-class marketing strategists with a strong financial orientation and great expertise at selecting the right marketing metrics to diagnose and predict performance. Working together, we will create enormous value for our clients in conquering the challenges of effective and efficient marketing resource allocation.'
Reibstein says the combined skills of the two firms provide processes and tools to identify and track performance metrics, and to anticipate the economic impact of changes in strategy or tactics. As a past Executive Director of the Marketing Science Institute, Reibstein has taught graduate and post-graduate-level marketing at Wharton, Harvard, Stanford, and Insead. He has also written a number of marketing books, and recently co-authored a volume focusing on marketing measurement, entitled: Marketing Metrics: 50+ Metrics Every Executive Should Master.
McNally has a 25 year background in food retail/service marketing. He regularly speaks at international conferences on the subjects of marketing strategy, brand positioning and customer relationship management, and has also been quoted in many books and articles on marketing strategy, leadership and innovation.
Third CMO Partners team member, Tom Klein, will not be joining MarketingNPV as he leaves to pursue other interests.
