'Lifestyle Centers' Developer Hires New VP of MR
Memphis-based shopping centre developer, Poag & McEwen Lifestyle Centers, has appointed a John Cirillo as Vice President of Market Research.
Cirillo's role includes identifying new sites, designing retail leasing strategy, overseeing management of the market intelligence database, and conducting customer research, sales forecasting and demographic analysis.
He joins Poag & McEwen with 20 years experience of developing retail/real estate strategies for companies such as: Nordstrom, JC Penney, New York & Company and The Taubman Company.
Commenting on the appointment, Terry McEwen, President of Poag & McEwen Lifestyle Centers said: 'John is a well respected market research veteran in the industry who has a wealth of knowledge that will greatly assist us in many important areas of our organisation.'
Cirillo holds a Masters Degree in Geography from Binghamton University and a BA from S.U.N.Y Geneseo, New York. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and holds appointments on the North American Research Advisory Task Force and ICSC European Research Group.
