User Experience Leader for DraftFCB
DraftFCB, the Interpublic marcoms agency formed last summer by combining Draft and Foote Cone & Belding units around the world, has hired Jackson Young for the new position of Senior VP / Director of User Experience Architecture.
Reporting to two Executive VPs, Timothy Burns and Brad Kay, leaders of the firm's New York's digital practice, Young will lead its user experience team, analysing consumers' interface with platforms including the web, mobile phones, kiosks and interactive TV, plus emerging categories.
Most recently, Young was Director of User Experience Design for MTV Networks' digital division, covering MTV.com, the MTV Overdrive Broadband Video Channel and VH1. Previous roles included Director of IA for interactive agency Rare Medium, and lead strategist for Dennis Interactive. He has also worked on large-scale museum interactive projects including NASA's Kennedy Space Center Museum and the Pope John Paul II Cultural Center in Washington DC, and is the author of children's educational software concepts as well as four video games for Viacom New Media.
