Ipsos MORI Director Leaves to Head York Consulting Scotland

UK-based economic and management advisor York Consulting has appointed Margaret Frazer as Principal Consultant, in charge of operations in its Edinburgh office.

Frazer joins with more than 15 years' agency-side research and management consultancy experience. For the past eight years she has worked as Associate Director at Ipsos MORI Scotland responsible for both social policy and corporate research. Prior to this, she conducted UK and international consultancy work, and spent six years working client side in research and marketing roles. Frazer has an MA Honours from Glasgow University and a postgraduate diploma in European Marketing and Languages from Napier University in Edinburgh.

In the newly created role, she will oversee the development and implementation of the business plan for Scotland, direct a range of research and consultancy projects, and co-ordinate marketing activities. Her team of seven consultants offers a broad range of skills and experience and comprises economists, researchers and education specialists.

Commenting on the new appointment, York Consulting MD John Rodger said: 'Margaret has a proven track record in our industry and will play a central role in expanding the range of services we are able to offer in Scotland. We have high expectations and believe that Margaret will succeed in achieving our ambitious growth programme in the region.'
